Mission Accomplished!

Scarlet Rose is completed! Well, the first draft anyway. It is 53 chapters long; 83,144 words.

Now, it is true that I have quite a bit to add to the book; ideas I’ve come up with during the writing. It might be nearly twice the length after my second draft is finished. Right now it’s a bit of a mess. But it’s done! The rough draft is done and I am so happy about it.

  2. Congratulations!=)

  3. That's really great. And it can't be in worse shape than my first (still unfinished) draft.

  4. Hurrah! How does it make you feel? It's a total mess, or it might actually be a good thing someday?

  5. Both. 🙂 it's a mess but it will be good once I'm finished.

  6. Hip, Hip, Hooray! Such a major accomplishment must be congratulated! Are you planning on publishing Scarlet Rose? If so, how? Traditionally or self published?
    Congrats again!

  7. I'm planning on publishing Scarlet Rose, though I don't know how long that will be since I want to write the rough draft of all three books before publishing the first one. Currently I'm hoping to try for traditional publishing, though the more I learn about independent publishing, the more I like the idea.
